Screenprinting demos are a fast and fun way for patrons of all ages to learn more about the history of printmaking and to come away with a bag, bookmark, or shirt they've hand-printed themselves. I love doing these demos as drop-ins during other events- the examples here are from the Cumberland Public Library's annual Doctor Who Day. Teens left with a bag begging to be filled with books and a guide to resources for making their own screenprinting setups at home. I've done similar workshops for summer programs, school groups and other themed events.
