Animation Club

The Greenville Public Library's Animation Club was a highly requested follow-up to our Ready, Set, Animate! Summer Program. At each bimonthly meeting, attendees ages 7 to 11 learned new animation techniques and work on individual and collaborative projects. Students explored traditional animations, digital animation programs like ABCYA and Scratch, and creating soundtracks in Garage Band.

Ready, Set, Animate!

in collaboration with Mimi Chrzanowski

The Ready, Set, Animate! Summer Program was held at the Greenville Public Library as part of their 2016 Summer Reading Program, "On Your Mark, Get Set, Read!". 8-11 year old patrons explored the history and concepts of the moving image over three days. Our students had the opportunity to create traditional and digital animations using ABCYA's excellent in-browser animation app.
